Comparison of the recent Arctic cyclone climatology between the Regional Arctic System Model (RASM) and two reanalysis datasets show stronger cyclones and a more northerly storm track in RASM. This work builds on this initial comparison by focusing on the cyclone characteristics within the Arctic Basin as represented by RASM from 1980-2014.
