Abstract
The CIRES Diversity and Inclusion program has been established to attract and support diverse prospective students and employees, and to build a culture of inclusion. The initiative includes recruiting to attract students and employees from a wider range of perspectives, a virtual CIRES D&I community, support for search and hire, training and other programming for current employees, and data to inform action plans and promote transparency.
In 2020-2021, strategic planning for CIRES D&I is well underway, we have results for our second culture survey, we participated in the Inter-Institute Racial Equity Challenge, and unit subgroups made their own advances to promote equity and inclusion.
This poster describes progress to date within the CIRES D&I program, the services provided to CIRES employees and ways to be involved.
