In this poster, we will present the outcomes from CIRES Strategic Plan Imperative #1 to "Advance our robust and creative research capabilities to further knowledge in the environmental sciences and the realization of its benefits." The main activities were organizing a first-of-kind CIRES proposal mentoring program. We also helped to lead the first CIRES Science Summit.
