The purpose of the CIRES 2nd imperative was to strategically link research groups and improve the mobility of people and ideas to enhance innovation and interdisciplinarity across CIRES. This poster will focus on the CIRES Science Summit held on April 8th in concert with the committee that was tasked with facilitating the 1st imperative: advancing CIRES research and outreach capabilities to elevate its scientific excellence and impact. The poster will highlight the summit's objectives, organizational approach, key discussions, and provide an analysis of the event, including recommendations for future CIRES-hosted Science Summits.
