. Providing Useful Climate and Weather Information to Decision-Makers in the Rocky Mountain West

Abstract
Western Water Assessment (WWA), a NOAA RISA program, conducts research in partnership with decision-makers in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming, such as water managers, natural hazard planners, municipalities and the agricultural community, helping them make the best use of science to manage for climate impacts. The WWA team consists of a broad range of research expertise, including hydrology, climatology, policy analysis, and social science. This poster provides an overview of WWA’s recent work across sectors in our region and discusses methods for producing usable science through engagement with users.
