CPP-02. Daily snow and ice data from NOAA@NSIDC: The value of user engagement, support and feedback

Abstract
Over twenty thousand users download NOAA@NSIDC data each year for research, education, and commercial purposes. Many more view the data products online. This leads to user questions and feedback which helps us resolve errors, improve the products, and develop help resources. We value user input which is why we sent out a user survey for three of our most popular products: Sea Ice Index, Snow Data Assimilation System (SNODAS) Data Products at NSIDC, and the Interactive Multisensor Snow and Ice Mapping System (IMS) Northern Hemisphere Snow and Ice Analysis at 1 km, 4 km and 24 km Resolutions. Here, we present the results of the survey and additional user case studies to demonstrate the value of user feedback and providing a high level of support to our users.
