. Participate in a Year in Arctic on board a research vessel from Anywhere - Coordinating Education, Outreach and Communication of the MOSAiC expedition

Abstract
MOSAiC (Multidisciplinary drifting Observatory for the Study of Arctic Climate) is a large, international collaborative research expedition that aims to study the changes occurring in the Arctic system. MOSAiC will use intensive scientific observations from a year-long drifting research vessel in the central Arctic to provide the process level understanding that is needed to significantly improve models of the Arctic system. The MOSAiC Coordination Office facilitates the US contribution to MOSAiC from the NSF, NOAA, DOE and NASA to work jointly with German and international partners and provide leadership to maximize the scientific and societal impacts through coordination of science, education, outreach and communication. Communication, education and outreach and activities will engage an international group of educators, photographers, cinematographers and scientists to bring the MOSAiC expedition to everyone and anyone fascinated by the Arctic, including K-16 students across the globe. Content will be curated through a public website. CU graduate students will work with the Fiske Planetarium team to develop a planetarium show and short virtual reality Google Expeditions that will be disseminated internationally. The poster outlines the activities of the MOSAiC Coordination Office around education, outreach and communication.
