Adventures at interfaces: Molecules, Atmospheres and Community

Please check with friends about a place to stay but if you need a hotel, it is important to book hotels now even if they need to be cancelled later. Boulder is expensive- sorry about that. I include the list of CU negotiated rates (https://www.cu.edu/preferred-hotel-program-local/preferred-hotel-program-local-ucb) make sure to ask for the "The University of Colorado special rate". Several hotels on this list are within 1 block of one another and located centrally. There is bus service to campus when a 20-30 min walk is not desirable.

The hotels recommended are those close together and you can share walks, chats, breakfast and transportation. They are also 1 block away from the Saturday dinner venue (The Dairy Arts Center). They are: (a) Embassy Suites by Hilton in Boulder, (2601 Canyon Boulevard). (b) Residence Inn in Boulder (2550 Canyon Boulevard). (c) Hilton Garden Inn in Boulder (2701 Canyon Boulevard). (d) Mariott in Boulder (2660 Canyon Boulevard)

Two other hotels are close to campus and easy walking distance from the Saturday morning and lunch venues. They are connected by bus to those on Canyon listed above. (a) Moxy (1253 Pleasant Str., Boulder) and (b) Limelight (1295 University Ave, Boulder).

A few rooms are still available in June 19-21, 2026 so it is imperative to make reservations now even if those need to be cancelled later.

Anne Jefferson has the option of a guest room in her complex in north Boulder. If interested, please contact Anne (anne.jefferson@colorado.edu).

We will work on finding transportation by sharing rides, bus services and will reach out closer to the date to arrange transportation on June 19 and 20.
